looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the expenditures of households in both countries spent biggest on 3 categories including housing, food and other goods and services. the proportion for spending on transport and healthcare were lower in both Japan and Malaysia
obviously, can see that in the japan pie chart, the highest category was other goods and services which occupied 29% of the total spending. whereas in malaysia, it was lower than in japan with just 26%, less than 3%. the highest expenditures of households in malaysia was housing. its percentage occupied occupied 34% over the total, which was significant more than japan, about 13%. in the spending on food, it clearly seen that the percentage of expensing on that category in malaysia was higher than japan, at 27% and 24 % , approximately similar
the expenditure on healthcare was the lowest category in both countries mentione. in malaysia, with just 3% and in japan was higher with 6%. a double propotion can be seen on transport, with 10% in japan and 20% in malaysia
