Overall, armed robbery demonstrates a dramatic decrease. By contrast, assault rose fluctuatley over the period. Murder experienced the lowest numbers among the three categories.
To begin with armed robbery, it reached about 3700 crimes in 2004, subsequently, it declined sharply until it stood at about 1000 crimes in 2008. In 2009, the figures reached 1500 crimes and it remains the same until 2012. Meanwhile, assaults crimes was about 2250 in 2003, then it climbed to 2400 crimes in 2004. Afterwards, the figures fall slightly to 2000 in 2007, the figures decreased from 2250 to 2000 in 2008.
Subsequently, the assaults crimes increased suddenly to until it stood at 2500 in 2010. Later on , the numbers reached about 2750 crimes in 2012. As for murder, it climbed from 500 crimes in 2003 to about 800 in 2005. In 2006, the numbers went back to about 500, and it remains the same until it rose gradually to 650 crimes in 2010. By 2011 crimes shows stable figure at 500.
