It is clear that the highest percentage of donations was given by social welfare from 2012 to 2014. By contrast, the percentage of donations given to arts charities was the lowest over the years.
Looking at the social welfare chart in more detail, it is clear that the percentage of donations started at about 23% in 2012, which rapidly decreased to 17% in 2013. The figure climbed dramatically to 24% in 2024. The percentage of donations to education remained unchanged at almost 7% in 2012 and 2014, before declining at about 6% in 2013. There was a gradual fall in the percentage of environment from 8% to 6% between 2012 and 2014.
Turning to the remaining data sets it is evident that the percentage of health donation increased significantly at about 6% in 2012.By 2014, the figure had increased at about 9%. Between 2012 and 2014, wildlife charities recorded a 4% grew in donations. However, arts charities remained unchanged at about 2% in 2012 and 2013, after that he figure increased nearly 3% in 2014.
