The provided bar chart delineates the export income of a country in five different kinds of merchandises from 2015 to 2016. And the table illustrates the shifts in value percentage in each category of exports for the same years.
Overall, the export earnings from all four kinds of goods saw increases, except that from gems and jewelry dropping slightly. The same pattern is reflected by the table in detail from 2015 to 2016.
As can be seen from both the bar chart and the table, petroleum products, export incomes from engineered goods, agricultural products and textiles rose to different degrees. Among these four categories, values from textiles surged by 15.24 percent, from 26 billion dollars to 31 billion dollars. Conversely, agricultural products only devoted a marginal addition, with merely 0.81 per cent more. Over the span of one year, the export earnings from textiles reached the same level with agricultural products, at 32 billion dollars.
As to petroleum products and engineered goods, earnings from the petroleum products (62 billion in 2016 ) and engineered goods ( 61 billion dollars in 2016) climbed by 3 per cent and 8.5 per cent separately. Only the income from gems and jewelry plummeted by 5.18 per cent to roughly 40 billion dollars.
