In 1992, girl’s SAT scores started at 1992 and rose rapidly,, accounting for 490 points in 1995. There was a sharp growth of 20 points per year in girl’s average SAT math scores between 1995 and 1996. A gradual increase of 20 points was recorded in female’s grades in the last five years of the period.
In contrast, male’s average scores started with 500 points in 1992. Boy student’s scores experienced a moderate increase to 510 points in 1993. The period from 1993 to 1994 witnessed a slight drop of 5 points in boy’s average scores. Boy’s SAT scores climbed remarkably again util 1998 and remained constant at 530 points until 2000.
