Overall, we can see that the biggest part of all women from South Asia and Arab States can not read and write, the percentage of illiterate women in South Asia is approximately 57 percent and it is the highest rate around given regions. However, men are way often better educated in all countries, but South Asia’s men are more illiterate too. In fact, East Asia/Oceania’s men are nearly twice as literate as women, whose rate is 20 percent.
