This bar chart compares the average monthly spending on food, housing, transport, and entertainment in four countries: India, China, the USA, and Japan, measured in US dollars.

Overall, the highest share of money was spent on housing in all four countries, while the lowest proportion was spent on entertainment. In addition, spending on food accounted for the second highest amount. India generally had the lowest proportion, whereas the USA had the highest proportion in all four categories

In the housing category, the USA was spent the highest amount above 2000, followed by china($2000), Japan($1800), and India ($1700). The money was spent on the food just over $1000 by USA, china at $1000, japan around $900, and india approx. $800.

Transport showed $1000 spent by the USA, while india was accounted for lowest amount of proportion spent on transport at $400. However the least amount of share was spent on entertainment the USA accounted for just over $800, followed by china around $400, japan at $500, and India below $500.
