Although both European countries had some fluctuations of divorce rates in given time.
Sweden divorce rate was about 45% in 2011, being higher than Finland divorce rate by approximately 7%. Then, it rose to almost 50% in 2012. However Sweden divorce rate gradually decrease to about 47% in 2013, and continued to decline steadily about 45% in 2014 and then finally, decline to almost 37% in 2015.
Finland divorce percentage was almost 48% in 2011, lower than Sweden divorce rate. Then, decline steadily to approximately 33% in 2012. Furthermore it slowly experienced upward trend which was about 48% in 2013, and eventually increased, and became at stable level which was approximately 40% in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
