The bar graph illustrates the proportion of men and women in Australia, who participate in a routine physical tasks belonging to six different age group in 2010.
Overall, women participated the more than male in the physical activities. Notably, both of them were fluctuating and when one of them rose the other fell as the age increases.
Women’s participation was most in the age group 55 to 64 with 53.3% while males had their highest in age group 15 to 24 with a 52.8%.
We also see fluctuations in the graph, especially when masculine share decreased from 52.8% in 15-24 to 43.1% in 45-54 while feminine share increased from 47.7% in 15-24 to 53.3% in 45-54. Moreover, a contrary trend started after this period. The males share increased from 43.1% in 45-54 to 46.7% in 65 and above and females share decreased from 53.3% in 45-54 to 47.1% in 65 and above.
