The given bar chart compares the proportion of male and female pupils studying business, engineering, medicine and arts at a university in the year 2020.
Overall, it is apparent that engineering subject had the highest proportion of male students, while medicine had the highest involvement of femal learners.
Analysing in detail, engineering field accounted for the largest number of male students with almost a half of the total engineering students. Business subject involved almost 46% of male students, while femal participation was around 34% which was the second highest subject according to femal involvements.
Medicine had the largest involvement of femal learners with almost 35% and the male was about 28%. In contrast, arts and engineering were the subjects with the lowest active participation of male and female learners at approximately 18% and 24% respectively .
