Overall, it can be clear that the highest amount of consumption and production of electricity was observed in China and The United States. All the countries were self dependent to generate electricity, except Germany. Nevertheless Korea produced and consumed less energy compared to other countries.
It is clear that In China, the highest amount of electricity was produced and consumed, with 5.398 billion kilowatthours generated and 5.322 billion kilowatthours consumed. In the United States, 4.099 billion kilowatthours were produced and 3.866 billion kilowatthours consumed than other countries
Regarding other countries, Russia showed almost similar amounts of electricity consumption and production. In Japan, 936.2 billion kilowatthours of electricity were generated, and 856.7 billion kilowatthours were consumed. In other countries including India, Canada, France, and Brazil, production ranged between 871 billion kilowatthours and 530 billion kilowatthours , while consumption ranged between 698.8 billion kilowatthours of and 455.5 billion kilowatthours . Interestingly, Germany showed the most consumption of electricity compared to its production, utilizing 582.5 billion kilowatthours . Finally, Korea produced 485.1 billion kilowatthour and consumed 449.5 billion kilowatthours.
