The chart illustrates variety of media to get daily news according to age in 2011.
Overall, it can be seen that people from 18 to 65 mostly listened to the radio, while social networking sites were quite popular among children and people in their 20s. However, mocroblogging was the least prefferable option for every age group.
Regarding to radio, starting from age 18 to 64, most of the people were likely to know about news through listening to the radio (90%). Although, aging people who were above 65 listened to it a bit less than other groups (less than 90%). While 80% tweenagers and young people (from age 10 to 29) enjoyed social networking platforms more. But only half of people in their 30s looked through social media, whereas elderly people of two groups (50-64 and 65+) were not into social media, at 40% and 20% respectively.
Turning to microblogging, it was the least usable option among all the ages during the given period, at approximately 20%.
