The chart compares data about school students’ daily activities from three countries: the United States, Australia, and Canada.
Overall, the biggest differences are shown by Australia, while the figures for others are about the same. Of particular note is that Australian pupils dedicate more to study.
To begin, the routine of the students in the US is balanced. Turning to details, the sleeping duration accounts for 8.5 hours, while studying and relaxing made up 8 and 7.5 hours, respectively. Alike figures are true for Canadian students, where the average sleep time is lower by 30 minutes, while, in contrast, they study for 8.5 hours. In addition, the duration of relaxation is the same.
In Australia, school pupils spend most of their time studying (13 hours). On this basis, they sleep and rest much less than students from other countries: 7 hours for sleeping and just 4 hours for resting in a day.
