Overall, it can be seen that in all of the cities, landfill and incineration are crucial and widely used garbage disposal solutions. In Toronto, landfill is the most used method and in Kuala Lumpur, incineration is the most common. Moreover, recycling and composting are less common methods in waste disposal.
It is clear that, Toronto is liable for disposing of more than 70% of the waste through Landfilling. On the contrary, Amman uses this method to dispose of approximately half of its waste. In both Kuala Lumpur and Madrid, the same process is used to dispose of 17% and 29% of wastage. Kuala Lumpur uses incineration widely than the other methods. It uses this method nearly 55% in waste disposal. At the same time, in Madrid and Amman, this method contributes to the disposal of 40% and 38% of the trash, respectively.
Waste recycling is used to dispose of nearly 23% of the garbage in Madrid and Kuala Lumpur. In Annam and Toronto this method is used nearly 11% and 8%, respectively. Composting is the least used method, and it is used for only 8-10% in all cities.
