The bar chart compares the number of international tourist arrivals in four countries namely, (France, Spain, the USA, and China) between 2010 and 2020.
Overall, France had the highest number of visitors in both years, while China showed the biggest increase over the period.
In 2010, France made up around 80 million tourists, which was the highest figure among the four countries. Spain and the USA composed the same number of tourists, that each country accounted for nearly 60 million visitors. By comparison, China had a mere almost 20 million tourists, making it the least visited country. Therefore, there was a large difference between France and China at the beginning of the period.
In 2020, the number of tourists increased in every country. France rose slightly to about 90 million visitors, while Spain experienced a significant increase to approximately 85 million. The USA also saw growth, reaching roughly 70 million tourists. Finally, the last one country China showed the biggest increase in a decade, rising from around 20 million to almost 65 million visitors.
