The History Museum also experienced a significant increase to 600,000, while the National and Science museums had around 320,000 and 420,000 visitors respectively. In September, British Museum attendance fell to about 580,000, while the Science Museum reached approximately 490,000. Finally, in October, visitor numbers declined for all four museums, with around 450,000 people visiting the British Museum and only 170,000 visiting the National Museum.
