In 1950, India had 15% of the world population, China had the highest population around 24%. The USA was contributing with 8%, while Japan was having the least population with 4%. In 2002, India’s population increased by 2%. China was showing a slight decrease and went to 20%. The USA population percentage also decreased by 3% and went to 5%. Japan’s population decreased by 2%, and the population was only 2% of the world population.
Forecasting the populations for 2050, India’s population will keep increasing and will be at 19%. China’s predicted population in 2050 will decrease, and the percentage value will be at 15%. The USA population will remain the same as in 2002. Japan is showing a continuous decrease, and the projected value is around 1% of the world population.
