The bar chart above illustrates the percentage of the total world population in the four countries- India, China, USA, Japan. The data talks about the population in years 1950 and 2002 and predicts the population in the year 2050.
Overall, the one-fifth of the whole is contributed by China in the year 1950 which in 2002 decreased exponentially. Likewise, Japan’s population also dropped from 4% in 1950 to 1% as predicted for 2050. The part of USA was 7% in 1950 which got settled to a constant 5% later onwards.
While on other hand India’s journey started from 15% in 1950 which raised to 17% in 2002. It is then projected that India might have the highest amount of the total population till the year 2050. With India being the only country to see such a drastic upward trend in the graph.
In conclusion, as the information is drawn, we can see that it is China and Japan who is able to control its population. While USA has maintained the required balance of their citizens. It is quite evident that India’s population keeps on rising with a specific rate.
