Overall, China and the USA produced and consumed electricity significantly more than any other countries. Korea Rep. was the least producer and consumer of electricity. Germany was consumed more electricity than production.
In 2014, China was produced and consumed highest electricity, with over 5000 billion kWh for each. The USA was the second highest producers and consumers in electricity, which is 4099 billion kWh and 3866 billion kWh respectively. Russia was the third position of power manufacturing and consumption which was only around 1000 billion kWh.
The least producer and consumer of power was Korea, Rep. which was 485.1 billion kWh and 449.5 billion kWh respectively, which was about half of the fourth placed country Japan. France and Brazil were produced and consumed almost same amount of electricity at around 550 billion kWh for production and 460 billion kWh for consumption. Germany ranked ninth position and which was consumed higher power than production which is 526.6 billion kWh for production and 582.5 billion kWh for consumption. India and Canada was shared fifth and sixth ranking of power production and consumption in the year 2014.
