The two diagrams illustrate the childbirth’s percentages of certain women’s aged groups in the decades. In general, the percentages of women giving birth by ages 25-29 was highest over the last decade while the percentages of birth by women aged above 40 remained extremely low over the last 30 years.
In the first diagram, the average percentage of births by women aged 40-44 started at 3,2% in the beginning of 1989 until it gradually deteriorated to 2,4% in 1999. From then onwards the birth’s percentage continued to decline slightly at 2.2% in 2009, then the data slowly decreased to its lowest level at 2% over the next 10 years.
In the second diagram, the percentage of first giving birth of women in the age 25-29 group was higher at 23,5% than the other age groups in 2008, but the statistic gradually decreased to 22,5% over the next decade. The age 30-34 group experienced a most significant increase from the third highest percentage at 15% below the 20-24 age group at 17%, to the second highest percentage at 20% over the next decade. The age 40-49 group first birth’s percentage remained low at just 1% in 2008, but afterward it gradually rose to 3% in 2018.
