The graph illustrates the numiber of teaching hours spent by an educator in various schools in four different countries in 2001.

Overall, it is evident that the US alloted more time in their education than other countries while Iceland spent the least time for teaching primary students.

Teaching primary students, the US provided more teaching time with around 750 hours while Iceland spent the least with roughly 580 hours. Japan and Spain spent time teaching youn kids with about 600 hours and around 650 hours respectively. For secondary education, Though the US still spent the most hours with about 1000 hours, Spain spent higher hours with around 750 hours than Japan and Iceland only teaching lower secondary students with around 650 hours and 600 ours respectively.

For higher secondary level, though the US was still spending the most teaching time in this level with about 1200 hours, Iceland spent the most number of hours teaching this level than other level in their country with more than 900 hours. Following this is Spain with around 900 hours and Japan with the least teaching hours for upper secondary level with only around 700 hours.
