The two charts illustrate the employment rate of each sex in Canada, South Korea and Sweden for the years 2005 and 2015.
Overall, the number of working women increased in each country. Whereas, numbers of male workers increased in each country except Sweden.
As it can be seen from the bar charts, indexes of men who are employed were around 60% for Canada. Whilst, for South Korea and Sweden numbers were about 80%, however, for the latter one the percentage was higher. However, already, in 2015, South Korean’s rates of employment surpassed the one’s of Sweden, and almost reached the point of 80%. At the same time, 70% of all canadians were employed.
The number of employed women increased in each country, in 2015. In Canada increase make up approximately 15%, roughly 38% and around 53%, in 2005 and 2015, respectively. South Korea’s percentages of employment were 30% in 2005, afterward rising by about 3% in 2015. Not only do Sweden succeeded in decreasing numbers of unemployed people, but also were surpassed by Canada, 52% and 50%, respectively. Having discussed both sex’s it can be said that men still occupy significant number of employment rate, and more changes happened in the latter mentioned one as well.
