The chart represents the difference of employment between men and women in Canada, South Korea, and Sweden from 2005 till 2015
During 2005, Sweden had the highest rate of employment with 80% of men and 42% of women, while the employement rate was highest but the difference between men and women being employed was still in second place. On the other hand, South Korea had the second highest employement rate with 75% of its men, and 30% of its women. But it had the largest ratio between men and women being employed. While Canada being the third and last Country on the employement rate but contrary of SouthKorea the difference between men and women being employed was the lowest
In 2015, The highest rate of employement was in Canada with 70% of its men and 65% of its women being employed, it also had the lowest difference of employement between men and women, Sweden being at the second place for highest rate of emploement with 70% of men and 50% of its women. On the other side SouthKorea had the lowest rate of employement with the largest difference in the employement rate between men and women.
These two timelines of three contries illustrates that Canada and Sweden played a huge role in minimizing the gap of employement rate between men and women, while in South Korea the percentage of employement increased for men but the gap between men and women being employed widened
