The following bar graphs give information about the number of men and women in workforce in Canada, South Korea and Sweden between the years 2005 and 2015.
Overall, the number of men is higher than the quantity of women in employment in the three countries during both years. Even though, during 2015 there was a reduction in this gap.
Firstly, during 2005 Canada was the country with a minor gap between men (just above 60%) and women (around 39%) in the workface in comparison with South Korea and Sweden. On the other hand, South Korea was the nation with the largest gap in this group (around 70% of men and exactly 30% of women). Not too different from Canada, Sweden had a moderate gap with around 79% of men and around 45% of women.
Secondly, in 2015 both Canada (70% of men and around 55% of women) and Sweden (70% of 50% respectively) showed a large change compared to the result they got in 2005. On the other hand, South Korea presented a minimal increase in the number of women in workforce (around 35%) and a minimal increase in the quantity of men (just below 80%) compared to 2005.
