Overall, a majority of people surveyed tend to use one car for a long time, with a timeframe of 5 years or more being the most popular. Furthermore, the survey also highlights a consumer preference for second-hand vehicles.
Regarding the frequency of car replacement, more than half of users shift their cars every 5 years or more, which was the most popular trend. Meanwhile, 37% of people changing their cars every 3-4 years was the second most common choice. By contrast, the three least popular respondents were replacing cars annually, biennially, and never change, with the respective percentage accounting for around 1%, 4% and 3%.
Concerning the categories of cars bought, the preference for used cars was the dominant choice, at roughly four-fifths, which was about 4 times higher than that of new cars. As for other marginal option, such as “st?st” and “no car” occupying roughly 10% and 1%, respectively.
