The bar chart illustrates the percentage of total supply of renewable energy in Australia, Germany, Norway and Iceland in the years 2000, 2004 and 2007.
Overall, it can be observed that there were clear differences among the countries. Norway used the highest proportion of renewable sources while Australia remained the lowest.
Firstly, in 2000 the Norway consumed 60% of renewable engergy. There was a steadly rise in 2007 from 64% to 78%. In contrast, the Australia used energy around 10% in 2000. There was minor changes in the year of 2007.
Secondly, In 2000 the supplies in Iceland accounted for 50% and experienced a noticable increase in 2004 reached to about 60%. There was a gradual decrease in 2007 towards the final year. In comparsion, the Germany responsible for only 12% of total supply in 2000. Both in 2004 and 2007 recorded minor changes and reached to 18% in the final year.
