Overall, the number of men and women increased steadily, therefore the number of all participants was increasing steadily throughout the period. The number of male attendants was always the biggest amount.
The number of female and male in 1924 was 3000 and just over 0 people, respectively. Afterward, indexes increased steadily almost twice in quantity for each category, and reached the number of around 5000 men and just over 1000 women in 1984. Consequently, in 2012 the number of female participants increased dramatically to just under 5000, whilst indexes of male attendants was approximately 6000.
The number of all Olympic participants was rising, in 1924 numbers was approximately 3000 and around 5000 people in 1952. A slight rise was in 1984, subsequently increasing to the number of just over 10000 people in 2012, whilst the number of female participants increased dramatically.
