The bar chart illustrates the percentage of weekly money spent on different categories among different group of people in both years of 1968 and 2018 .

Overall the bar chart is periodically changing between these two years. But It is evident from the bar chart that people prefer to spend more money on leisure, transport and housing in 2018 .

As I mentioned on top , the bar chart given here shows a dramatic decrease from 35 % to 18 % for food from 1968 to 2018 also families decided to allocate more share of their money on Housing , Transport and Leisure compare to 1968 which the share respectively are 22% , 14% and 19%

The bar shows even shares of 8% for Household goods between this two years .

In the other hand the chart give us some slight decrease for Fuels and power , clothing and software and personal goods from 1968 to 2018 which these percentages changes from 6% to 4% , 10% to 5% and from 8% to 4% respectively .
