The graph illustrates data on rate of popularity on modes of transport and length of path to school taken by children of age between 11 and 16 in united kingdom during a period of 1 year.

Overall, it is very noticeable that a big number of children walks to school on short journey to school as opposed to long distances in which a bus covers.

Regarding to walk and bicycle transportation, it is worth noting that they are not used to travel a long distances over 5 miles, with walking to school under 1 mile standing out as big percent on whole report reaching a staggering 90%. On the other hand, cycling to school is popular among almost 2 miles takers with slightly more 10% short mark on mentioned value before this. In addition on emphasizing again on bicycles, path for under 1 mile and from 2 up to 5 miles both represents nearly 50%.

Looking at the car and bus , they are used to cover long distances specifically above 2 miles. In detail, bus is mostly used for over 5 miles journey peaking at 50 %, nearly a quarter percent more on car journey, young students take to cover same amount of distance. Furthermore, percentage of children who use those transportation methods for just under 1 mile are low and both accounts less than 10%.
