The pie charts illustrate information about populations’ ages for two different country, Yemen and Italy, in 2000 and an estimation for 2050.
Overall, for both countries the population ages divided in three varied categories. Firstly from 0 to 14, second one from 15 to 59 and the last one is dedicated for over 60 years old. The proportions are considered by percentage.
Regarding 2000 population in both countries, it is evident that the European country possessed larger amount of 15 to 59 years old people at 61.6%. However, this ages contributed just 46.3% of Yemen population. In addition, Yemen younger population, from 0 to 14 years old had the majority proportion in this year with 50.1%. Despite the fact that in ages contribute only 14.3% of Italy population. Over 60 people had the lowest percentage in both Yemen and Italy with 3.6% and 24.1% respectively.
On the other hand, in the future the estimation demonstrate that, Yemen’s 15 to 59 years old citizens will increase to just 57.3% while this case will have a decrease trend in Italy and will have 46.2% in 2050. However, in Italy the over 60 population will be witnessed an escalated situation and reach 42.3%. In comparison to Yemen, this amount will have the least percentage in future with 5.7%. Regarding the third group, 0 to 14 years old, Yemen and Italy population include 37% and 11.5% respectively in 2050.
