Overall, younger people made up larger percentages of social media users, with the age group 13 to 25 being the most dominant. In contrast, the oldest age bracket, over 55, had the smallest presence on social media.
Regarding the significant feature from the graph, the majority of users in Jamestown were aged between 13 and 25, accounting for 40% of the total digital platforms users. In addition, the second largest group are individuals whose age were 26 to 35. This made up slightly higher than a third of the total number of users.
In contrast, the proportions of social networking sites users from the other age brackets are relatively lower. For example, people who fell into the 36 to 45 age group took up 18%, and individuals who were in the age range of 46 to 55 comprised a tenth of the total social platform users. However, the smallest group of users are those whose age were over 55, representing just 2% of the total users.
