The pie graph illustrates how many people used social media platforms according to age in Jamestown in 2018.
Overall, younger people represented the largest proportion of social media users, with the age group 13 to 25 being the most dominant. In contrast, the oldest age group, over 55, had the smallest presense on social media.
Regarding the most significant feature from the graph, the majority of users in Jamestown were between 13 and 25, accounting for 40% of the total. Additionally, the second largest group fell into the age range of 26 to 35. They made up slightly more than a third of social media users. When added together, these two age brackets took up three quarters of people who used social media platforms in Jamestown in 2018.
On the contrary, the proportion of users from other groups was relatively lower. For example, people in the age range of 46 to 55 occupied a tenth and people, whose ages were 36 to 45 comprised 18% of the total number of users in the year 2018. However, the smallest group of users was those aged over 55, making up just 2% of the total.
