The bar graph describes the amount of electricity developed in United States with natural resources and fossil fuels in the years 2009 and 2019.
Overall,it is clear that petroleum products was the primary source of electric generation in 2009 ,which turn around in 2019 to natural gases and renewable resources. Moreover, wind became the supreme power of electricity production in 2019.
To commence with, in 2009,coal was the first prioritised source used by US citizens for power generation with a total of 1756 billion kilowatt per hour, which eventually declined to 966b/kw/hr in 2019. Natural gas and nuclear substances was the second and third most important resources during 2009. But,in 2019,the use of natural gas increased to around 1584b/kw/hr by dropping coal into second place .Similarly, nuclear power too emerged it’s production rate from 799b/kw/hr to 809b/kw/hr in 2019.Besides petroleum product faced a decline of 27b/kw/hr in 2019 than that of the other year.
On the other hand, the power produced from renewable resources inclined it’s rate throughout the years. In 2009, hydroelectric power stood first in place and even maintained the same value in 2019.However,in 2019, wind power increased its usage from 94b/kw to 300b/kw/ hr,which was then followed by solar energy converting 1b/kw to 70b/kw/hr.In addition, both the plant or animal matters and geothermal in total steeped up it’s rate to 2 to 4b/kw/hr in 2019.
