Overall, the greatest fraction of people moved to and from Europe was for either job or in search for employment opportunities. Also, people visited a European country to meet their families.
Just under 40% of total immigrants arrived in the country for employment: defined job, searching for a job(23%,15%). Similarly, 38% of emigrants had definite job in other countries, and 13% left to look for other opportunities. The number of people who came to Europe to meet with their families were one fourth of total migrants. However, only 15% left a European country to meet with their relatives.
For higher studies, only 15% immigrated to a European country, while only 7% left the country. These numbers were the lowest among the people with valid disclosable reasons for travel.
