The bar graph illustrates the comparison between the average home prices in five different cities for the years 1990-2002 with 1989.

Overall, the average dwelling price for most of the cities climbed in between the years 1996-2002; on the other hand, the home prices dipped for the years 1990-1995. Prominently, London gained the lead for home prices over the 13 years.

Throughtout the period 1990-1995, the average home prices for the London and Tokyo had a substantial dip around 7% while New York home prices fall by 5%; on the contrary, the home prices in Madrid and Fankfurt had a marginal growth, approximately 2%.

Between the 1996-2003, the house prices in London peaked among all cities, around 12%. While the home prices for Madrid and Tokyo rose significantly, 4% and 5% respectively. However, the homes in Tokyo remained cheaper with 5% of decreased dwelling price whereas the Frankfurt had a marginal growth to approximately 2%.
