The line graph compares the popularity of Japan by age groups from 1960 to 2040. Overall, the proportion of people aged 0-14 are sharply decreased, the people aged 65+ are increased and aged 25-64 did not change significantly.
Additionally, aged 65+ people group started increasing with 0% to half the 40% from over the period, over the 1980 and 1990 they did not changed significantly. Starting with noticeable changes group of 0-14 remained relatively stable from 1960 to 1990 but after the period it increased steadily from 30% to 10% over the period. The group of 25-64 remained almost unchanged over the period. It started with the half the 70% and it ended with near the 60%.
Turning to more consistent ages , 25-64 ages showed little changes over the period. The 65+ years old people group showed large increase than the 0-14 years old people group. The figure then experienced a mild fluctuation over the period, but remained broadly unchanged at the same level by the end of the period.
