Overall, the US remained the top aid provider in all of the years among the other developed countries. Furthermore, Germany is the only country that has seen an upward trend from 2008 to 2010.

The United States provided aid of around 23 billion in 2008, nearly double the amount of any other nation. Although the aid was reduced to $20 billion in the following year, but it surpassed the previous figures when it reached almost $25 billion in 2010.

Germany is the only country among all of them that has witnessed an increasing trend from 2008 to 2010. It started from $10 billion in 2008 and increased to almost $14 billion and $15 billion in 2009 and 2010, respectively. The countries the Netherlands and Sweden did not even touch the $10 billion mark in all of those years.
