The line graph compares four different mobile phones in a particular European nation in terms of their average cost of monthly contracts during the first three quarters of 2002. The prices are measured in euros.
Overall, it can be observed that all sorts of cell phones experienced significant increases in the price of contracts each month, except for Sim TX, which remained relatively stable. In addition, Alpha had the most substantial price change in contracts during the period.
In January, Domo was the most expensive mobile contractor, accounting for an average of 15 euros, followed by Lex at 12 euros, and Sim TX at slightly below 10 euros. The figure for Alpha, on the other hand, was markedly lower, at just 5 euros.
The figure for Domo consistently climbed to reach its highest peak in July, at 25 euros before gradually declining to around 23 euros by the end of the period. Alpha, despite having plateaued over the next 5 months, began to follow an upward trend since June, surpassing Domo to top at exactly 25 euros by September. Meanwhile, the average cost of Lex’s contract modestly rose to 18 euros, that of Sim TX steadily ascended to nearly 15 euros in June, followed by a slow yet consistent drop to its initial value of 8 euros in the final month.
