The bar chart provides information about how much money was donated to six different types of charity by one organization between 2012 and 2014. Overall, there was an increase in the percentage of donations to types of charity examined over the period, while the opposite was true in the environment and stabilized in education. Additionally, social welfare consistently received the highest funding, whereas arts remained the least funded category throughout the period.
The share of money which contributed to social welfare experienced a significant higher than the remaining ones in all three years. After decreasing in the range from about 22% to roughly 17% in the first two years, after which it bounced back to reach their peak of just under 25% in the final year. In contrast, the proportion of the environment experienced a similar pattern with social welfare, but to a much lesser extent, decreasing to exactly 5% before rising to approximately 6% in 2014.
In terms of the remaining four types of donations for charity, the company was observed with this tendency to raise consistently its for health, wildlife, and arts. After only three years, the shares increased significantly from 5% to 8%, from 3% to 5%, and from 3% to 4% respectively, which were still below 10%. Meanwhile, 9% money which was donated for education saw fluctuations from 2012 to 2014, and then remained relatively unchanged in the last year of the period.
