Examining closely about this chart, Great Britain had least amount of people who were imprisioned in 1930 as they were focusing on the expanding their own country. In contrast, recently, the figures of United States gradually increased and marked as the highest out of four countries.
Overall, the trend of this chart counted the number of people who got punishment of imprisonment over the period.
