The chart below illustrates the main reason why many people choose to make or break a friendship connection on a popular social media website. Overview, we can see that the highest percentage of people having friends is in real life and the biggest percentage of people who unfriend are offensive comments.
It is obvious that there are some reasons that can make a friendship, those known in real life make up the highest share, just over 80%, followed by mutual friends.The rate of the cause is 35%. Besides that, business networks, attractiveness, and increasing friend count are the other reasons, with lower rates of 10%, 8%, and 7% respectively.
On the other hand, besides offensive comments there are some reasons, we can see that the reasons people choose to unfriend because of depressing comments and lack of information is above 30%, above 50% there is don’t know well and trying to sell something.
