The bar chart presents the numbers of people attending different evening courses (Drama, Painting, Sculpture, Language) at an adult education centre in the year 2009, while the pie chart provides information about how old were the members of these courses.
Overall, women accounted for higher proportions in almost every course, whereas in Sculpture course male participators surpassed females. Regarding to the pie chart, number of attendants increased as their ages rose.
In the given year, Language course in the centre was the most popular among others with overall 60 participants. In contrast, Sculpture course made up the least interesting with only 15 people. Meanwhile, Painting course members were almost twice as more that of Drama’s, with 30 and 55 people in respectively.
In terms of gender distribution, women in Drama and Language courses were exactly twice as many than men. Painting course attracted more female participators (5 more), in comparison to Sculpture course, which attracted 5 more as well, but men instead.
According to pie chart, in 2009 age distribution in given courses shows interesting pattern. The chart depicts gradual increase in proportions of people attended memberships from the youngest ones (5%) to eldest ones, which records 42%.
