In General, it is evident that the amount of male and female students studying full time increased, while the number of Female students in part time study rose significantly.
In regards to the male distance learning, there was a steady increase with from approximately 150,000 to 200,000 respectively. In like wise manner, the number students in full time study rose to about 100,000 then dropped to approximately 800,000 before rising slightly in 1990.
