The given bar chart below shows the proportion of a particular drug company among three different regions between 2002 and 2006.
The initial impression from the picture would be that there was a declining trend of a drug company’s sales in America and Europe, while the company’s drug sales in Asia was the opposite. And Asia has reached a peak at sales in the last two years.
In 2002, the US was the highest market of drug company , accounting for 41%. However, the data had dropped to 27% before going up dramatically and finished at 30% in the year 2006. On the other hand, Eroupe saw a rise from 34% to a high of 38% within the first two years, surpassing the US. However, this highest point was short as the region’s sales subsequently declined, peaking at par with the US by the end of the period.
On the other hand, a downward trend in those above regions was growing, there was a falling in Asia. Starting from a low of 25% in 2002, this figure nearly doubled to 40% in the last year, becoming the most profitable region for the company.
