The bar chart depicts information in terms of the proportion of total sold products of a drug company in three countries over a four-year period starting from 2002. In general, the figure for America and Europe experienced a downward trend during the period in question, while that of Asia rose and became the top performer.
At the beginning of the period, America consumed the most number of drugs, occupying 41 percent of the company’s total sales. Below which were Europe and Asia, with respective figures being 34 percent and 25 percent; therefore, Asia was the worst performer. The period from 2002 to 2004 witnessed an increase in the amount of drugs sold in Europe and Asia with both figures increased to 38 and 35 respectively, while that of America decreased substantially to 27 percent.
Moving on to the remainder of the period, the percentage of drugs bought in America experienced a slight recovery to 30 in 2006. By 2006, the bar for Europe had plummeted by 8 percent, while that of Asia had risen to 40 percent, becoming the top business partner of the company.
