Overall, in 2010, the highest percentage of male teachers are in University and female teachers in nursery/pre-school and primary School in 2010. On the contrary, the lowest percentage of male teachers are seen in nursery and primary School and female teachers in University.
The highest proportion of male teachers are in University which is approximately 70%. Male teachers in private training institute and college are 50% and 45% respectively followed closely by male secondary school teachers. The lowest percentage of male teachers are in primary school and nursery, at approximately 10%.
Female teachers are highest in proportion in the Pre-School/Nursery and Primary school, around 85- 90%. On the contrary the lowest female tecahers are in University, at 30%. Women teachers in secondary school are approximately 45% followed closely by female teaching staff in college and private training institue, 45% and 42% respectively.
