The two pie charts illustrate the proportion and figure of workforce in man and woman in part-time and full-time in he UK job for two distinctive years:1988 and 2012. Units are measured in percentages and numbers.

Overall, The man accounted for higher number of work-force in the UK, holding the highest in full-time jobs. There was a marginal difference between part-time and full-time employees in woman, wheras in man an enourmous difference can be observed.

The data suggest that the proportion of employees in man full-time decreased by 6% in between 1988 and 2012, yet holding the highest figure of total 13794000 from 12,539000, which were the highest figures in respective years, while the proportion of employees in woman in the same went up significantally to 26% in the later year from 19% in the former, reaching a total of 7,696000 from 4,482000.

It is lucid that part-time job was the most preferable for woman in 1988 holding 22%, while it decreased by 2%, with total 5979000 employees. In case of man an insignificant proportion being covered in both the years, holding 6% and 7% respectively. It is interesting to observe that the total number of employees increased to 29600000 in a span of 24 years from 23839000.
