Overall, while the proportion of qualifications of graduates from Masters Arts, PhD Science, and PhD Arts experienced an upward trend, the figure for First Degree Arts and First Degree Science exhibited a contrasting pattern.

In 1998, the percentage of graduates from Master Science was highest, at 29%,while the rate for PhD Science was significantly lower, at 13%. 25% of the total qualifications of graduates werefrom First Degree Arts, compared to only 2% from PhD Arts.
