The bar chart illustrates rate of female school leaves who are going into higher education in five countries between 1980 and 2015
Overall it’s clear that percentage of women going into higher education in 2015 dominated that of in 1980 in all countries with the exception of Australia .
According to the graph, 3 English speaking countries had larger percentages that South Korea and France. Rates of female graduates made up almost 36% which was lower than that of in the USA and Australia by nearly 40% and 60% in 1980. The figure for Australia remained steady at around 60% in 2015 , while that of in the UK and the USA increased sharply to almost 55% and 60% at the same time.
By contrast, Rates of female school leavers who are going into higher education in France comprised by nearly 50% in1980, exceeding the percentages of South Korea which had only 15%. In comparison with the rate or female graduates going into higher education in South Korea which witnessed a steep growth to 30% in 2015, the rates of France rose minimally to around 55% at this time
