The bar chart shows two separate units of GDP (IT and Service Industry) in five different years, from 1992 to 2000. Although the income increased a good deal in Service Industry in that time period, the grow was more robust in IT Industry. Additionally, the percentages in IT sector were higher in all of the illustrated years.
After a small surge, going up from just over 6% (1992) to just over 8% (1994), and sinking to just under 8% in 1996, the percentage of GDP in IT industry showed intense growth, respectively 12% (1998) and around 15% in 2000.
The proportion of GDP in Service Industry doubled. It was a bit over 8% in 2000, 4% higher than it had been 8 years earlier (4%). The rise was quite steady, going up from round 6% (1994) to 7% (1996), growing slightly further in 1998 (just under 8%), arriving just over 8% in 2000. The rate remained well under the proportion from IT Industry (round 15% in 2000).
Overall, the two shown Industry, IT and Service, experienced a significant rise in the proportions of GDP. The increase was more steep in IT Service Industry and the numbers were higher in each of the illustrated years.
